EAA240 Goes Underground! – Luray Caverns Fly-Out

The EAA240 fly-out fleet of five aircraft flew to Luray Caverns, Shenandoah Vally Virginia on Saturday. We had a great time enjoying the incredible formations during the one hour, and one quarter mile tour of the underground caverns.

A few of our photographs are below, but click here for the full set. See the spectacular stalactites formed from the cavern roof, and the stalagmites formed from the cavern floor. Breathtaking!

We also visited the Motor Museum, which displayed a large variety of vintage cars and period costumes.

A great time was had by all.
