Another record broken at this weekends Pancake Breakfast and Young Eagles Flights.
After our success in the first of our 2012 fund-raiser of May 19th, when we topped 300 breakfasts-served and 40+ Young Eagle Flights – a new record for the Chapter (on a non-Air Show day), we were delighted to have brought so many folks together for food, fun and flights.
This Saturday saw us top those numbers, with 332 Breakfasts served, and 55 Young Eagles flights flown. Amazing.
So, I guess you can say that we are indeed – INCREASINGLY FAMOUS!
A big “well-done” to all Chapter Members who contributed in the many tasks that makes these events so successful: supplies shopping, hangar prep, cooking, serving, raffle ticket promoting, pilots & airplanes, ground crew, clean-up crew, merch sellers…..it all comes down to fabulous teamwork, and having fun doing it! And we had plenty of both last Saturday.
Our next event is Saturday July 14th and for those members who would like to join the teams and get engaged, we’re ready for you!
