Air Show and Pancake Breakfast

The annual two-day air show is a major commitment and investment by the Airport and Township and is sadly one of the few public aviation events occurring in the region. EAA240 and our membership supports the Air Show in many ways, and we serve the air show visitors with an excellent value breakfast, a major and important fund-raising event of our calendar.

As in past years and in the spirit of contributing to the success and continued viability of the air show EAA240 Members are encouraged to purchase tickets and to promote the event amongst colleagues, friends and family. Tickets can be purchased in advanced here - save money!

Air Show Entrance Free Passes are only available to those who volunteer in advance with Jon Martin and his team, and who provide volunteer services in the lead-up and during the two-day event.

EAA240 members who are helping-out at the Pancake Breakfast are required to purchase air show tickets. Additionally, we will have limited parking for EAA240 members at the hangar and special passes will be required to get to the hangar. Details to follow.

We need your help and support in all aspects of the Air Show and Pancake Breakfast!

For the ‘Increasingly Famous’ Pancake Breakfast, we anticipated record numbers and need your help. Arrangements are already underway with your fellow-members with planning food purchases, preparing the meeting room (extended breakfast seating) and hangar, sprucing the hangar space up etc.

Flight Scholarship Pedal Plan Raffle Tickets will be sold at the hangar and from the EAA240 Booth during the show, and we will draw the Pedal Plane winner at the Sunday show, at approximately 3pm!

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

promote the Breakfast and Air Show with friends, family, colleagues

• promote the Breakfast and Air Show with friends, family, colleagues
• Check-in at the hangar Friday 24th afternoon, help with prep and cleaning
• volunteer and be available during Saturday and Sunday mornings to help with the Breakfast and EAA240 Booth
• be available at noon Sunday, to return the hangar to working condition

Please do what you can to help out. Just an hour or two makes all the difference. Many hands = light work!
