The Cape May Fly Out finally happened and it was well worth the wait!
After a hot and delicious breakfast at the Flight Deck Diner, we spent the morning and part of the afternoon in the Naval Air Museum, and we still did not see it all. What a historical aviation gem!
Our own Chapter 240 member and veteran pilot Dan Gutierrez, explained the workings and flight details of the many aircraft types on display that he piloted. We also met up with Frank, a veteran and Museum volunteer, for some great historical details on the restorations and many of the displays.
After our many previous attempts to Cape May were challenged by weather, the trip finally happened and exceeded all expectations.
Thanks to the Events Team for another great Chapter 240 Fly Out!
