You’ll be aware that we generate the largest portion of our annual income through our Increasingly Famous Pancake Breakfasts, and that these funds keep the Chapter moving forward, help maintain our hangar in full working order, help pay for our Scholarships and much, much more. Our Breakfasts are in demand from out loyal locals, airport users and – for this weekend – the many Balloon Festival attendee’s. We expect a busy weekend and a great opportunity to secure the funding for our Chapter and it’s events.
So. We need your help. We need YOU to step up, step-out and come help. We can’t do this well without YOU. YOU need to do your bit! Please, plan to attend for at least two hours on one of the dates indicated below.
When you arrive please report to the PB Team Leader (see the notice in the kitchen), get a food cooking and serving procedures briefing, and help out!
EAA240 volunteers don’t need passes to get to the EAA240 Hangar to help with Breakfast, as our Hangar is outside of the Festival Event boundary. We’ll have a number of FREE Balloon Festival passes each day for those who help us with Breakfasts. The PB Team Lead will hold and distribute these.
Note that Friday late afternoon is prep day, and that on Saturday and Sunday we fire-up the grills at 6am, for 7am serving, as we anticipate many people will be attending the early morning Balloon Release at ~5am. They will be hungry – and we can provide a fabulous breakfast. We close our service at 11:30am each day.
Our call for volunteers and schedule, pick your slot or slots! Please don’t assume we can do this well without YOU:
