After bad weather thwarted our repeated attempts to get to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, we finally did it.
Morning mist in the mountains was no match for the sunny Sunday and a great flight to Wellsboro-Johnston airport. 5 airplanes and 13 travelers made their way through the smooth air and beautiful mountain scenery.
At the airport we were treated with an airport vehicle and the airport managers personal truck for the drive for a hearty lunch in town.
But the real treat was the flight over the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. With leaves changing color and Pine Creek flowing through the gorge, it was a scene that was well worth the wait!
We have more fly-outs coming up soon. Check the Events Calendar for all details.
