EAA Chapter 240 is an active community of aviation enthusiasts, promoting general aviation, offering educational workshops (welding, fabric etc), flying for fun (and for food!), actively supporting general aviation and also sponsoring young pilots through our Young Eagles and Flight Traing Scholarship programs.
Our Annual Membership Subscription is just $25. Membership of the National organization is required within 12 months of joining EAA240.
Events: We arrange monthly flying excursions to places of interest, visiting museums, restaurants, air shows, restaurants, beaches, and restaurants! Aircraft-owning Members willingly offer rides to their colleagues, with 5 to 9 aircraft usually participating, with 10 to 15 members enjoying the trip. Destinations include Tangier Island MD, Luray Caverns VA, Army Airfield Museum Millville NJ….and many more. See the current events calendar by clicking here.
Hangar/Workshop: Our purpose-built Hangar and Workshop is fully fitted-out and available to all members for their aviation projects. Currently (January 2012) we have FIVE members aircraft being assembled on the EAA240 Hangar. Visit our hangar at any time, check-out the action;
